  6. PICTify is a screen capturing Control Panel/Extension and is very easy to use.
  7. Just drop the icon into the Control Panels folder in the System Folder and restart.  
  8.  
  9. You can use PICTify to capture a rectangular area of the screen that you define.  Simply click the mouse while holding down the 'hot key' combination that you define via the control panel (Shift-Option is the default).  While holding the mouse button, drag until the area you wish to capture is enclosed by the rectangle.  When you release the mouse button, a dialog will appear asking you for the name of the file and where you want to save it.  Also, you can choose to save the file as a ResEdit PICT resource (in a ResEdit file) or a TeachText PICT document.  Click the appropriate button and then click 'Save' to save the file .  That's all there is to it!
